It is aimed at a wide population including trainee counsellors/psychotherapists, qualified counsellors who want to brush up on their skills and others who wish to improve their skills in their personal and professional lives.

Course content

I know you believe you understand what you think I said,

I am not sure if you realise that what you heard is not what I meant.

This seems like a funny quote, yet if this is how you are left feeling after you have found the courage to tell someone what has happened to you ,and how you feel about it,then it is not so funny.

During this two day workshop we will look at essential ,basic skills that will give you the confidence to listen to hear and understand what another person is saying; the effect of this is to help the other person feel heard, understood and not judged.
