Red Kite Training offers a range of Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy courses. We run a four-year rolling programme, over 10 weekends each year, with various exit points.
Foundation Year: The first year of training develops and extends upon TA 101 so that trainees embody basic concepts and principles and develop critical thinking skills.
Award: Red Kite Foundation Certificate in Transactional Analysis
Advanced Clinical Year 1: In this year trainees explore the theory and practice of TA Psychotherapy. They will be developing the clinical competencies to begin a supervised placement (when ready) and will be studying at a post graduate level.
Advanced Clinical Year 2: Trainees will secure a broader and deeper knowledge of Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy theory and applications. They will locate TA in the context of other psychotherapy and counselling theories. They will be starting or continuing their supervised placement this year.
Advanced Clinical Year 3: Trainees will be enhancing their clinical skills and theoretical knowledge and developing their own style of practice. Some will be working towards sitting the EATA exam to become a Certified Transactional Analyst and gain registration with UKCP and UKATA as a psychotherapist
Following on from four year's training we will run an Examination Preparation Group which will lead trainees towards gaining their CTA.
