Training

All our training at Red Kite takes particular account of the ecological spaces in which we live and learn, including working in outdoor settings. We present a movement in TA which is orientated toward an ecological understanding of the individual embedded in relationship with others and the wider natural world. We also give ongoing attention to the somatic, relational, neurological and transpersonal dimensions of theory and practice. (See our Learning Philosophy and Course Modules)

Studying at a postgraduate level is an exciting and rich experience. At Red Kite we foster a co-creative and interactive learning environment through an experential style of delivery to open up a reflective space to stimulate your own thinking. We encourage active participation and discussion within the group and in pairs/triads as a central part of the learning process. Each student develops their own personal learning goals for the year, with the support of tutors and peers. We encourage trainees in their writing; numerous trainees have been awarded the UKATA Research Prizes for their work. (See Red Kite publications). Here is a recent account of someones experience.
